Cancellation Policy

Renter Cancellations

To ensure fairness to hosts who have reserved gear for you, the following tiered refund structure applies:

• Full Refund: Cancellations made more than 7 days before the rental start time.
• 50% Refund: Cancellations made between 24 hours and 7 days before the rental start time.
• No Refund: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the rental start time.

Host Cancellations

If a host cancels a confirmed booking, the renter will receive a full refund (including platform fees) immediately. Hosts who frequently cancel bookings may have their account status reviewed or suspended.

Extenuating Circumstances

In rare cases of emergencies or safety concerns, Sparetools may override standard policy to issue a refund. Evidence (e.g., doctor's note) may be required.
